The special potential of face-to-face interviews
We recommend personal interviews in case the participants (for instance experts or higher management executives) require a particular degree of personal care during the interview situation or in case the subject of the interview (for instance more complex product concepts or extensive visual material) requires a greater depth of explanation.
- Experienced and psychologically trained interviewers guide the respondents through the survey – usually in a semi-standardized interview framework with quantitative and qualitative elements –and are on hand for the survey participants should these have any questions; any issues can be clarified directly in the interview situation.
- The face-to-face interview can be conducted on the representative premises of any test studio partner of us, but 'in-office' or 'in-home' visits are standard, especially in the B2B segment. Here, the interviewer visits the survey participants at their place of work or residence.
- As a matter of course, we also recruit the participants and schedule the meetings in addition to conducting the interviews (to be dealt with in-house or by one of our test studio partners, depending on the scope of the random sample and target group).
